The Gnosis prepares for a unique journey and you can be a part of it!
For the first time ever – Canonn’s megaship will attempt to jump into a permit-locked part of space! A call to all brave explorers and combat capable pilots has been issued to help research the unknown space around the Cone Sector…
In response to the latest developments around the Thargoid threat, the Pilots Federation has sealed off the Cone Sector FN-J B9-0 system, which is believed to contain high concentrations of Hydra Interceptors. Despite this, it is understood that the Gnosis, flagship of the Canonn Interstellar Research Group, will attempt to complete its scheduled jump into the now permit-locked system.
The Gnosis herself is a megaship owned by Canonn Interstellar Research Group capable of faster-than-light travel, intended to be deployed to locations of ongoing scientific interest such as alien structures, ancient ruins and various Thargoid surface sites.
The Gnosis already visited systems like Betelgeuse, Merope, Meene, HIP 18778, Taygeta, the Dark region, Synuefe region and many other, and is now planned to jump into the Cone sector.
Cone sector expedition
On August 13, 3304, Canonn Gnosis Division updated the flight plan of The Gnosis and announced plans to jump from Outotz ST-I d9-4 to Cone Sector FN-J b9-0 in the Cone Sector region for a four-week tour from September 6 to October 4. The Cone Sector was an inaccessible pocket of systems surrounded by a larger permit-locked sector that was too wide for conventional vessels to jump through.
Canonn Gnosis Division advised that traveling aboard The Gnosis would be the only way to safely enter or exit the Cone Sector for the foreseeable future. On October 4, when The Gnosis departs the Cone Sector, any pilots not secured in a hangar aboard The Gnosis before it jumps would be left behind and trapped in the region indefinitely for as long as their ship holds out.
So – if you want to be part of this unique expedition, make sure to be onboard the Gnosis by the 5th of September to ensure yourself a safe spot on the megaship’s landing pads.
