Ship transfer poll results are in!
After a huge debate on the official forums and reddit about whether ship transfer should be instant or with a delay attached to it - the final votes have been cast...
39,902 people voted, of which 38,045 have validated Elite Dangerous accounts, and seventy percent voted in favour of having delivery times. The biggest argument against instant transfer was the immersion breaking and inability to explain it decently lore wise.
A lot of commanders stepped up with explanations of their own or even alternatives but it seems we will be having the more realistic approach to ship transfer once the patch goes live.
If Frontier sticks to how they released betas before - we could expect the 2.2 beta somewhere by the end of the current month.

@Arcane Intervention I'm pretty sure the exact details are not currently known and whatever Frontier thinks of will most probably be tweaked after the beta. IMO - it should be based on distance AND your FSD drive together with ship price. I'm pretty sure the cost of moving around a Cutter can't be remotely close as to moving a Sidewinder. But yea - we'll just have to wait and see.

i voted for a timer, but shouldn't the timer be baced off of your ships FSD, not it's distance to you?
