Pathfinder - Road to riches companion
A while back an avid explorer by the name of CMDR VicTic/SchmicTic created a route he called Road to riches. It takes you around 300 Earth-like planets and water worlds that can net you a hefty sum now that exploration payouts have been buffed...
To make the whole deal even better, the entire route is located just a few hundred light-years away from the bubble! This means it takes no effort to visit the systems in an exploration vessel no matter what your experience is. Whether you just started Elite or you're a veteran in search of exploration progression rank - this route will perfectly fit your needs.
To make the whole journey easier - I made a simple companion tool that enables you to check visited systems while you're honking and scanning.

@David Evans - The planets won't move or change. So they will stilll be right where they are right now. The process of scanning will change though, and I guess we'll need to wait for the update to see how profitable it turns out to be

Will 'Road to Riches' remain usable after the exploration changes of Chapter 4 ?

@GLO0p - I'm pretty sure most of the people got around 300-400mil after going through the full route.

Hey, I am relatively experienced but am in no way knowledgable when it comes to this game. I have a fully fitted dbx for exploring and was wondering how much I could expect after completing this whole route. Thanks!

Thnx for your feedback -MadLax-. I personally never scanned anything that was more than 5000ls away. Just honk, reveal all and get the planets that are close by. Enjoy your new wealth o7

I'm done, its not bad but I would remove 300k+ trips and it goes a bit to longrangs when we have to go to Trappist-1
Here some Ly that are not on the list..
nr493 = 105.33Ly
nr499 = 119.83Ly
nr501 = 6.11Ly
nr503 = 3.34Ly
nr509 = 7.00Ly
nr523 = 9.45Ly
nr537 = 119.34Ly
nr555 = 105.90Ly
nr556 = 368.68Ly
After nr516 you can add one extra Col 285 Sector JC-U c3-10 A 5 water worlds candidate for terraforming

Im doing the list with only 29ly fsd, so may be I see more extra systems to add. but this is first one that looks right for this list. :P

@Grim_sheeper - Yea, you might find some extra goodies that are not on the list. Consider them bonuses hehe
Grim_sheeper 19. June, 2017. at 01:31h
Disregard that last statement 230 is ok BUT their IS another water planet in that system. It is planet d6 so you might want to add it
Grim_sheeper 18. June, 2017. at 23:12h
Number 230 is a water planet not a hmc planet
Skipp 16. June, 2017. at 09:25h
@DJ Arghle - I just updated the tool so it contains HMC planets now! Just make sure to force-refresh the page so new scripts are loaded
DJ Arghlex 15. June, 2017. at 06:10h
victic posted up a new list that includes high-metal content worlds: https://pastebin.com/hCf3iwe6

@Grim_sheeper - you don't trade anything. It's an exploration route. Like stated - you jump into listed systems, scan earth-like planets and water worlds. After that, you turn in your exploration data for high-payouts.
Grim_sheeper 12. June, 2017. at 16:34h
What are you supposed to trade on this route?
Vixen 12. June, 2017. at 08:18h
Oh wow! Time to get rich. Almost feels like gamebreaking, but since the rest of the stuff is such a grind - this will help a lot
Sethis 11. June, 2017. at 22:19h
I'm loving this! Hopefully Frontier doesn't nerf back the credits given for ELW discovery.
