April just started and we're already looking forward to the upcoming patch scheduled for May 9th which brings new ships, alliance logos on citadels, the option of gifting and more…

Blood Raider Shipyards

The Blood Raider Covenant have been working hard to bolster their military capability and ensure that they are at the forefront of combat technology, utilizing technology stolen from the Amarr Empire.

Blood Raider shipyards provide a unique opportunity for capsuleers from across the cluster to assault Blood Raider manufacturing facilities and military staging points, salvaging blueprints that will allow the construction of formidable Blood Raider capital vessels.

Capsuleers should be warned – these shipyards are very well defended, and should they come under attack, Blood Raider backup forces are never too far away…

Dagon, Molok and Chemosh

Developed by the Blood Raider Covenant to provide battlefield support for their new capital fleet, the Dagon supports its advanced armor repairing capabilities with state of the art energy vampire subsystems, allowing it to drain capacitor charge from hostile vessels to power its own systems.

Force Auxiliary: Dagon

"Be wary of those who offer you aid with a smile and words of encouragement. They are false. Those that give life so that they may live are are more reliable and true in their motives. Eternity beckons for the Sabik but travelers on that road must be clothed in the blood of the weak and refreshed by the blood of the powerful and pure. Only give succor to a true fellow traveller, that they may aid you on your journey along that road." - Omir Sarikusa, Meditations on a Crimson Chalice

Based on the Avatar class titan, the Molok is a technological terror that most adversaries do not survive an encounter with. Advanced energy vampire subsystems coupled with turrets that offer brutal stopping power, the Molok is regarded as one of the most powerful supercapital class vessels in the cluster.

"Molok, libeled as 'The Deceiver' by the false faith, was truer than any so-called 'True Amarr' follower of the corrupted throne squatters could ever be. He it was that understood the true nature of the universe. There is only one truth: power is all; naked, merciless force wielded by those with the will to grapple with it. We drink the blood of the powerful and the pure because to survive and advance we must feed on their energy and make it our own. This is the lesson of Molok. His failure is of no moment, his glimpse of the Great Truth is all that matters." - Omir Sarikusa, Meditations on a Crimson Chalice

A twisted take on the Revelation class dreadnought, the Chemosh was born out of a need for the Blood Raider Covenant to compete with the destructive capabilities of both Imperial and capsuleer fleets. Sporting the Blood Raider’s advanced energy vampire subsystems along with three hard hitting turrets, the Chemosh is a highly destructive force on any battlefield.

Dreadnought: Chemosh

The Blood Raider Covenant has found itself needing to match the capabilities of the Amarr Navy and capsuleer alliances in the face of repeated clashes with both foes. Omir Sarikusa has commanded his fanatical followers to adapt to increased prevalence of capital ships in naval warfare by developing their own, marked by the usual perversion of Amarr ship designs to the battle doctrines of the Blood Raider fleets. The Chemosh class dreadnought is such a ship, sporting the Blood Raiders' signature Energy Nosferatu technology.

New Introduction Video

As part of the ongoing project to improve the New Player Experience and give a more meaningful journey through character creation, a new cinematic video has arrived to brief capsuleers on the trials and tribulations of forging their own legacy in New Eden.

PLEX Changes

With this release, PLEX will become more accessible and easy to use, with more granular denominations and a new inventory location – the PLEX Vault – in which you can store it. Additionally, the Secure Commerce Commission will be retiring Aurum, and the New Eden Store will begin to use PLEX for purchase of all goods and services.

Gifting

Have you ever wanted to celebrate a wingman or corp mate’s birthday, an EVE Anniversary, or just brighten another capsuleer’s day in general?

With this release, you’ll be able to gift anything that you can purchase in the New Eden Store to a fellow pilot as a thank you, a gift, or just because you’re a lovely person!

Alliance logos on citadels

The time has come for capsuleers to make even more of a mark on the universe, marking their claim on their space and structures for all to see.

Alliance logos and character portraits are coming to citadels, which will allow you, the elite pilots of New Eden to fly your colors on the largest structures ever assembled in the history of New Eden.

Pacifier

In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of CCP Games, every purchase of a Fanfest 2017 ticket will be rewarded with a Pacifier class CONCORD frigate.

While this vessel has its CONCORD subsystems stripped out, pilots will find that it is still a formidable little vessel, able to hold its own on the field of battle.

Enforcer

In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of CCP Games, every purchase of a Fanfest 2017 ticket before January 1st, 2017 will be rewarded with an Enforcer class CONCORD cruiser.

The Enforcer is an amalgamation of several popular cruisers from across the cluster, and while this version no longer has its CONCORD designed weapons subsystems fitted, this is still a vessel with some serious teeth.
