Announcing the lucky winner of the X4: Foundations giveaway
Time's up! Fasten your seatbelts, make sure your copilot is safely tucked in the passenger quarters and get ready to boost out of the station into the great unknown!
It’s been a bit over a week since X4 released and Egosoft is pushing out patches and quick fixes on an almost daily basis making sure everyone’s experience doesn’t get halted by a random bug or borked AI. As of this writing – X4: Foundation is in version 1.30 with 1.31 up in beta testing, and this will be the starting point of our lucky contest winner!
So, without further ado – Alpha Orbital is happy to announce that the copy of X4: Foundations goes to Hoozer who will certainly be greeted by both Xenon and Khaak once he undocks and starts his path to glory and riches.
Congratulations and check your inbox and/or spam folder.
I’d also like to thank everyone else for participating and visiting Alpha Orbital. Stay tuned for more giveaways coming soon ™!

@Hoozer - You're welcome. As you probably noticed, Egosoft has been pushing out a lot of patches and there are even some hints of the upcoming patch 1.5 and 2.0 coming early next year. Station clipping is a known issue but it can usually be solved by simply pressing shift+D to teleport back to your ship.

Hello Skipp,
I just wanted to thank you once again.
I already encountered some glitch (sunk through the Floor of a Station and got stuck there), as well as some accidental deaths (autopilot flew me through an asteroid-field with strange yellow-shining crystals and my hulll was gone). Also learning how to handle the data-vaults was quiet time-consuming, if you don't think about using your reprairlaser on the red-shining panels with the error-message on it, whch are fitted somewhere on the vault! ;-)
I still try to get my hands on a Khaak-M!
All in all this will probably be my favorite game for a long time! (So much to explore, so much to trade,, so much to built, such much to fight: it realy makes sense to call it X4! 4 times the fun!) ;-)
I hope you extend your X4-info-section by chance (like a ship-list or -calculator) and keep up the good work on your website.
So I wish you (and all visitors too) all the best for the upcoming hollydays and the new year!
